Shimano has equipped this reel with their cutting-edge Infinity Drive Technology, improving the main shaft supporting structure to significantly mitigate friction. This results in increased power transmission and torque with every handle turn, even under the most immense loads. MicroModule gearing combined Infinity Drive ensures a truly elevated experience with every handle turn, with the precise meshing of gearing for a buttery smooth rotation. Built into the reel handle itself are two positioning slots, allowing anglers to easily increase or decrease handle length. The shorter length allows for quicker turning, while longer length aids in leverage. Housing its internal gearing and other mechanisms, the robust yet physically light weight Hagane metal body serves as the rigid framework.
