Set to tame some of the largest of pelagic species with ease, the Shimano Terez BW Uni-Butt Full Roller Rods utilize premium materials and state-of-the-art rod technology to dominate the water column. Shimano incorporated several key blank technologies with the creation of each rod blade, including Hi-Power X, Sprial X, and UD Glass construction, each working together to maintain the rods structural rigidity and strength under load. This allows anglers to efficiently transfer all their energy, ideal for long fights against powerful species such as Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and more. Its UD Glass technology enhances overall rod strength, while retaining its ability to flex and keep fish pinned, mitigating tear outs. The full roller layout, rod powers, and actions seen on each rod blade adapts perfectly for trolling, chunking, and more, requiring less setups when needing to change tactics of the day.

Hi-Power X

Hi-Power X utilizes diagonally wrapped carbon tape that runs up and down the length of the blanks outermost layer to reinforce its twist resistance. This also allows Shimano to perfect precise actions for the blank, specifically tuned for big game and the trolling tactics that go with them.

Spiral X Construction

Spiral X Construction consists of multiple layers of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions, enhancing torsional and compression rigidity without adding extra weight. Incorporating two rod butts into one high quality and robustly built package, the Winthrop Tackle Terminator Adjusta-Butt delivers great versatility to fish how you want. Its construction is made up of solid aircraft-grade aluminum, with a hardened stainless steel positioning mechanism for rock solid stability and performance. The positioning mechanism allows the rod butt to switched from a straight butt to bent all with the simple push of a button, working out well for those times you want to switch standup fighting styles, fighting in the rod holder, and simply for the ease of storage and transportation.

For mounting your favorite big game conventional reel, its reel seat with an adjustable machined hood and small/large mouths is built to accept reels in the 30 – 130 class. A Delrin collet nut always ensures tight fit to the hood, keeping you more tuned into the actual fight and not fighting your gear.
